Sense of Family

May 16, 2017

Choosing a preschool can be both exciting and terrifying. The minute I walked into Burke Presbyterian I felt like I had made the right choice. The director greeted both me and my daughter with a smile, introduced us to all the teachers, and let my children explore in the classrooms. Our decision to attend was made in those first 30 seconds.

Once we began classes, I never looked back. The sense of family is like none other. The teachers know all the students, regardless of their classrooms, and the children seem to all know one another as well. They learn through play, and they build lasting friendships. My daughter and I often stay at the playground after school with her classmates, and the bonds between the parents are just as strong as those between the kiddos.

My child is learning all the skills she needs to be successful in kindergarten, but most of all, she’s having fun and learning to love God, be aware of the world around her, and to be a kind friend. Really, what more could you ask for?
